Darren Lawless is presently Director of Research and Development at Fielding Chemical Technologies Inc. Fielding, Canada’s largest and most technologically sophisticated and accredited recycler of solvents and refrigerants, is a small to medium size enterprise employing 75 people in the Mississauga area with over 13 million dollars in annual sales. Darren also serves as Chair of IMAC, Canada’s premier association for the management of innovation.
Darren has been associated with the chemical industry both through academic and industrial research for over 15 years including several years spent working in the U.S. National research system. Darren’s current responsibilities include seeking safe and technically innovative ways to give new life to spent chemicals. He has a particular interest in issues affecting innovation within SME’s.
