At the Awards evening, the Winners are recognized for their innovation, expertise, and leadership in Canada's advanced technology community.

This year's theme is "The Future is Mobile!"

Mobile devices are the most widely adopted communications technology in history. There are now more mobile devices in use than PCs, landline phones, internet users, and daily newspaper readers -- put together!

The Future is Mobile! hears from Canadian leaders about "mobile on mobile" and includes a special feature on how mobile communications is entering our vehicles!

At the Gala you will see the leading 'connected car' or the 'LTE' Car, built in Ottawa by leading software firm, QNX Software and telecommuications provider, Alcatel-Lucent.

Hear from our Connected Panel of global experts on the future of mobility:
Dan Dodge, CEO, QNX Software Systems
    Derek Kuhn, Head, Alcatel-Lucent Canada
Ben Riley, Head, U.S. Defence Rapid Technology Office
Caroline Lewko, President, Wireless Industry Partnership

Panel Moderator is Paul Brent, CTV Host, Tech Now. You will also hear from a "Power Podium" of leaders from companies like Google, who will explain how they are putting their strength behind Canada’s mobile industry.
