Re: ITU Telecom World (Canadian Pavilion)
Brand Leadership & Global Networking Opportunities
Please be advised that companies/organizations can now participate in the Canadian Pavilion at ITU Telecom World on 4th-8th December 2006 at Asia World Expo, Hong Kong, China. The event, hosted by the Chinese government, offers access to its high growth markets. The city of Hong Kong as the host city is geared to facilitating business networking to potential partners and customers throughout China and region.
Through a special offering organized by CATAAlliance, Industry Canada and International Trade Canada, Canadian based companies can take advantage of a preferred pricing package for their trade show space and benefit from a range of enhanced business promotion services. In some cases, companies may qualify for travel cost support.
The Canadian Pavilion will be of interest to companies with leading edge innovations in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) from mobile or content solutions to broadband and media or next generation networks to satellites, and spans the whole ICT and telecommunications industry.
ITU Telecom World offers a full range of onsite opportunities for participants as well as new innovations and services. It provides a platform for the leading figures across the industry; from government and regulators to operators, service providers and vendors to come together, meet, network, do business and help shape the future of the world's ICT industry. The renowned ITU World Forum has "Living the Digital World" as its theme and will spotlight the role technology plays globally, the part it plays in our daily lives and how technologies affect societies worldwide.
The ITU Telecom World event was organized for the first time in 1971 and expected attention in 2006 is as follows: 900 Exhibitors from 50 countries; 50 thousand trade visitors from 160 countries; 2,000 VIPS from 150 countries; 1500 journalists from 50 countries; and 2500 expert panelist and speakers from 150 countries.
