The annual Women's Business Network (WBN) Business Woman of the Year Awards (BYA) recognizes the accomplishments of womn who live, work and play an active role in a business in the National Capital Region across three separate categories: Entrepreneur, Professional and Corporate.
Nominations are now open. Take the time to recognize an outstanding woman in business with your nomination today!
Please submit your nomination with the online nomination form
or forward the link to colleagues and clients. Nominations may be submitted by WBN members and non-members alike; a nominee does not have to be a member of the WBN to qualify.

This prestigious award has recognized the accomplishments of outstanding women in the National Capital Region since 1983. Nominations are welcomed from any person, association, organization, institution or business. The awards are open to women who live, work and play an active role in a business in the National Capital Region. Selection committees drawn from the business community, the award sponsors and the Womens' Business Network choose three finalists in each category based on one written submission from the nominees. A Gala awards dinner is held each spring in celebration of all women in business, and in particular the finalists and recipients of the Business Woman of the Year Awards.
