CATAAlliance (CATA) and Digital Nova Scotia (DNS) are proud to host, in partnership with presenting sponsors Health QR and the IWK, a one-day conference focused on building a connected patient-centric digital health-care system in Nova Scotia. Bringing together members of the ICT, life-sciences, and health communities, this event aims to engage stakeholders to look at the opportunities and barriers to a progressive mobile health-care system in our region. The goal will be to create an action-oriented network and eco-system of cross-sectoral support for Digital Health initiatives in the region and nationally.
Nova Scotia’s population is aging and the demand for health-care services is growing. Mobile-health technology with a focus on connected patient care offers significant solutions to current barriers in the health-care system, from rural care to wait times. Join speakers from CATA’s Mobile Health Advisory Board, DNS members, Health QR, the IWK, representatives from the Government of Nova Scotia, and more, to move mHealth innovation adoption forward. Learn more about the impact local ICT companies are having on the growing mHealth sector, from self-management tools to mobile apps for MRI appointments, and gain insight on innovative case-studies and collaborative mHealth opportunities in Nova Scotia and beyond!
As industry associations for the ICT sector, CATA and DNS believe that mobile, digital technology provides a significant opportunity to positively transform the health sector and empower patients; leading to better patient outcomes and reducing costs to Nova Scotia’s health system.
Join us on November 26th, 2015 to be part of the action plan for mHealth and over-all Digital Health innovation and impact.
