Cal Fairbanks is a co-founder, Director and CEO of ElectroBusiness.com Inc. He has over 10 years international business experience, a strong entrepreneurial background and extensive knowledge of the Internet and e-Business. He currently is responsible for developing the vision and direction for electroBusiness and the electroBusiness Utility. electroBusiness.com is a B2B eCommerce ASP (Application Service Provider) that enables businesses to sell their products via multiple online channels. The e-Business Utlity(TM) hosted platform, using XML technology, acts as a vendor catalog integration hub providing a "one to many" interface to multiple B2B exchanges, e-Procurement systems and company websites. Prior to founding ElectroBusiness Connections Inc. Cal Fairbanks was the Executive Director, Western Canada and Director of International Development for the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance) from July 1995 to August 1999. Prior to working for CATAAlliance, Cal Fairbanks was a contractor with IBM where he successfully designed, developed, marketed and managed e-business strategies, application development and web enabling plans for numerous organizations. Cal Fairbanks earned his Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Calgary in 1987 and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the European University (Antwerp) in 1989. The focus of his studies included International Marketing and Strategic Partnerships. Mr. Fairbanks is currently a Board of Director for a number of Internet related companies. |
