Andrew Moffat, CD, B.Admin is the founder and CEO of Keshet Technologies Inc., and past principle shareholder and CEO of EDUCOM TS Inc. Andrew founded EDUCOM on his retirement from the Canadian Forces. His vision was to build an organization that would deliver products, services and training in support of empowerment. Prior to his retirement, Andrew had been one of the driving forces behind the introduction of IT in support of IM in both the Department of National Defence/Canadian Forces (DND/CF) and the Federal Government. As a senior project manager with highly-developed planning, troubleshooting, organizational and leadership skills, Andrew is often requested to offer advice on issues relating to IM/IT to executive level management. His experience spans several technology infrastructure platforms including knowledge based solutions, integrated enterprise solutions; Business Process Re-engineering, comprehensive business case models, groupware applications, Integrated Document/Publication Management Systems, electronic commerce and interactive electronic publications (SGML/HyTime and HTML). Recently he has conducted studies to determine Total Cost of Ownership, built business cases for IT Asset Management/Enterprise Systems Management, and assisted with developing an extensive accountability framework model. Andrew maintains a solid focus on the goals and objectives of each project. He is able to prioritize objectives and resource demands and allocate scarce resources efficiently, while continuing to maintain and meet deadlines. Andrew has assisted a number of large organizations in developing clear visions about how to leverage IT to assist in restructuring business processes, distribute accountability, exploit IM and empower users. Andrew has consistently demonstrated an awareness of both the bottom line and the achievement of short and long term objectives. Often exceeding expectations, he typically brings innovative solutions to bureaucratic challenges. |
