Gord Ashe is a Senior Manager with the Audit and Assurance Group of the Ottawa office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1996. Gord received his Chartered Accountant designation and was admitted, as a member, to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1999. He received is Certified Public Accountant (Illinois) designation in 2001 and is a licensed public accountant and a member of the Ottawa Association of Chartered Accountants. Gord has provided financial accounting, auditing and advisory services to both private and public sector clients. He specializes in the Technology Sector. Gord has performed and managed an extensive array of financial assurance engagements for the technology and not-for-profit sectors and is responsible for one of the largest financial statement audits and the only Sarbense-Oxley domestic filing audits of the Ottawa office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP . His experience includes accounting and financial reporting (both Canadian and US GAAP), financial analysis, financial management, internal control evaluation and design, regulatory compliance. He has experience with both Canadian and US prospectuses and assisted in client business acquisitions, including planning the acquisitions, conducting due diligence procedures and advising on related accounting and reporting matters. Gord is a member of the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Audit Quality Team promoting audit quality and conducting and assessing internal file reviews within the Canadian firm. | |
