The University of Ottawa Telfer School of Management Private Sector Leadership Award -- Nominations now open

CATAAlliance Innovation Awards are now open for your nominations

Named after The University of Ottawa Telfer School of Management, this Award is presented to an individual from the private sector in recognition of outstanding technological innovation and corporate leadership which has significantly expanded the frontiers of Canada's advanced technology industry. The recipient must have demonstrated consistent innovation and leadership skills resulting in the creation and international acceptance of significant world-class products and/or the establishment and development of a major advanced technology company or companies that have withstood the test of time. Contributions to achieving a more competitive investment climate in Canada will also be taken into account.

Indra has over 60 patents filed in his name and was instrumental in the development of ViXS' unique and world class video processing architecture which has enabled ViXS to capture a market leadership position in the fast growing consumer video SoC transcoding market. As co-founder of ViXS, Indra and the senior management team recognized that the field of digital video in broadcast video created a need to manipulate convert and scale high definition compressed video in real time.
