Canada National Pavilion @ EXPO COMM CHINA 2008


EXPO COMM CHINA 2008, the largest and the most influential Telecom/IT Exhibition in Asia, will be held at the New China International Exhibition Center from October 21-25, 2008. EXPO COMM CHINA is the sole national level international Information and Communications Technology (ICT) exhibition ever held in China for more than 20 years. The Government of Canada, in partnership with Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA), invites you to exhibit in the Canada Pavilion and benefit from this great opportunity to showcase your company's capabilities and develop new business partnerships in the dynamic China market.

THE EXHIBITION
Sponsored by the Ministry of Information Industry of the PRC and co-organized by China Telecom, China Netcom, China Mobile, China Unicom, the show provides a networking platform for influential government and business leaders in the information industry. Over 850 exhibiting companies from 33 nations and more than 370,000 visitors are expected to attend this show.

CANADA PAVILION
The Government of Canada and CATA will be co-organizing a Canadian Pavilion, and Canadian Embassy in Beijing will be organizing a networking activity, i.e. a seminar and/or reception, for exhibiting Canadian companies and some targeted Chinese companies during the show. The pavilion will be located in Hall W-2 with high visitor traffic. Covering 72 sqm, the Canadian Pavilion is an open-concept design to encourage visitor traffic flow and provide exhibitors with maximum exposure. Communications support will be provided (with detailed service to be confirmed) and a booklet of participating Canadian companies will be prepared. CATA representatives and Canadian Trade Commissioners from Greater China posts will be available to facilitate introductions with foreign contacts, share market intelligence, and provide guidance on doing business in China.
