Through SCOAP and its relationship to CATA and our other Divisions (E-Content, IMAC, CAIP, CHITTA) members will benefit from increased offerings and services:
- An expanded peer group of research, technology management, and innovation leaders in Canada for sharing first hand updates and trend information in the fields.
- Celebration of Innovation and Distinguished Member Recognition at the Gala Innovation Awards Dinner (June 21, in Ottawa at the Chateau Laurier Hotel) hosted by CHOH, TV Host, Paul Brent.
- An expanded program of seminars, such as the leadership breakfast series with Ottawa U, Forecast 2005 with experts in the banking, labour market and technology industries, a special WIT (Women in Technology) event, briefings on key subject areas such as tax credits, CIO perspectives, among others.
- Preferred registration fees in more than a dozen Conference events across Canada, dealing with Linux, Wireless Communications, CIO's, Export and Trade.
- An active role in the promotion of public policies supportive of Canada's Innovation agenda, with a new focus on commercialization in partnership with CATA and the Canadian Innovation Centre.
- Survey and Research Reports available only to SCOAP members and Divisions of CATAAlliance, valued in the thousands of dollars (e.g., India and China market studies, Legislative Analysis, Procurement etc.)
- Added value to members through enhanced communication of relevant business information through newsletters and alerts.
