In October 2015, the inaugural National Policing Cybercrime Summit was held in Toronto and featured over two dozen law enforcement, government, and industry speakers and attended by over 100 delegates. The Summit was hosted by founding partner organizations the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) and the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance).
As a result of delegates’ feedback regarding the high-impact messages shared by the Summit speakers/panels, and in response to recommendations generated from the Summit relating to the need for greater information sharing among subject matter experts, the CACP and CATAAlliance are pleased to offer an Encore Presentation Series of the Summit featuring many of the original speakers.
The presentations are being permanently housed on a Special Video-On-Demand Channel and currently offers five podcasts (with a bonus track) featuring speakers including:
Jeff Adam, Chief Superintendent, Director General, National Technical Investigation Services, Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Marie-Claude Arsenault, OIC National Intelligence Priorities, Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Peter Henschel, Deputy Commissioner, Specialized Policing Services, Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Doug Ross, Head, Technical Analysis Team (Digital Forensic Labs), Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Peter Sloly, Deputy Chief, Toronto Police Service
Scott Tod, Deputy Commissioner, Ontario Provincial Police
Norm Taylor, Co-Founder & Program Director, Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Executive Global Studies Program
Katherine Thompson, Chair, Cybersecurity Council, National Spokesperson, CATAAlliance
Bonus track: Daniel Steeves, CIO, Ottawa Police Service
