China's Cyber Security Law will take effect on June 1 of this year. The new law lays out procedural and substantive obligations for network operators with respect to personal information and important data collection, storage and cross-border transmission.

Earlier this month, the regulatory authority promulgated the Exposure Draft for the Data Export Measures to seek public opinion. In case you might feel interested.
