Toronto, ON – The CATA Cyber Council, a collaboration between public and private sector industry leaders is launching a national survey designed to gauge the true state of cyber security in Canada.
"The intent of this survey is to develop a yearly pulse check of how Canadian organizations, big & small, are feeling about cyber security" says Katherine Thompson, Chair of CATA's Cyber Council. "We are very fortunate to have assembled an advisory group with some of Canada’s most respected voices in cyber security and they are the driving force behind the need for delivering insights that are sspecific and unique to the Canadian marketplace" adds Thompson
This national initiative will provide perspectives and concerns from a cross-section of public and private sector participants in Canada. The survey, which targets leaders in a variety of roles and industries, will serve as Canada's first in-depth view of how cyber security is impacting our businesses, our government, national security and consumer confidence.
The results of the survey will be delivered in a white paper by the CATA Cyber Council in early 2016 and will serve as a catalyst for national consultations planned for the year.
