PROFIT’s first annual survey of business owners reveals benchmarks and best practices that can help your company grow: State of the Entrepreneur Nation: Another CATA partnered initiative
January 24, 2013

PROFIT Magazine, in conjunction with Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance) and partners conducted a survey of more than a thousand small and mid-sized companies across Canada; 225 of them were in the technology sector. We sought to find out how these entrepreneurs feel about their industry and the economy at large, and to learn about their practices in key business areas such as human resources, financing and succession planning. We discovered that while the Canadian tech sector has its share of obstacles—especially the fierce global competition for top talent—the business owners driving this industry feel they are more than up to the challenge.
