The 2009 Telfer India Forum Panel will be an unique opportunity for companies large or small, to gain insight into the challenges and opportunities in doing business in India or with Indian firms. The 1.5-hour panel will draw on experts from both Canadian firms who have succeeded in the Indian market and Indian firms who have invested in Canada and globally. The panel will include representatives of Aditya Birla Minacs, ICICI Bank Canada, the TaraSpan Group and Eion Wireless who will field questions related to a) the general business environment in India today b) the current state of Indo-Canadian business collaboration and c) opportunities for Canadian firms to partner with Indian companies who are going global Through the Teleforum, you will have the opportunity to raise questions under each of the areas noted above and seek guidance as to how to tackle the Indian market and whom to contact for support and guidance. The panel is part of a half-day event being hosted by the Telfer School of Management, in partnership with the Indo-Canada Ottawa Business Chamber. It involves senior business and government leaders from Canada and India and is designed to help Canadian companies better understand how to engage with Indian companies as they play an ever growing role in the global marketplace.
