Public Relations Award for Excellence in Science and Technology Reporting
TORONTO, ON – April 12, 2013 – CATAAlliance is pleased to announce the creation of the NATIONAL Public Relations Award for Excellence in Science and Technology Reporting. The award will be given at CATA’s 28th Annual Innovation and Leadership Awards Gala Dinner on May 29. Excellence in Science and Technology Reporting is awarded to a journalist or writer raising the public profile of science and technology.

Award nominees must show contribution to the building of a science and technology culture in Canada. Last year’s winners were: Jean-François Codère, Les Affaires; and, Vito Pilieci, The Ottawa Citizen.

The NATIONAL Public Relations Award will be presented at CATA’s 28th Annual Innovation and Leadership Awards Gala Dinner, hosted by the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa on May 29, 2013.
This year’s Gala continues a 28-year tradition of recognizing outstanding technological innovation and corporate leadership in expanding the frontiers of Canada's advanced technology industries.
CTV Alumni Host, Paul Brent will return as the guest MC and moderator of an All Star Panel of business and community leaders focusing on the theme of Leadership for the 21st Century.
