Nominations for the GTEC Distinction Awards 2011 are being accepted!
May 4, 2011
Dear Innovation Community members
We are calling on you to nominate candidates for the GTEC Distinction Awards Program. It is a truly unique opportunity to recognize and reward those public sector individuals and teams, who through their leadership achieve excellence in the implementation of IT in government.
The medalists will be announced at the industry sponsored Distinction Awards Gala on October 17, 2011, before an audience of fellow nominees, senior government managers and industry executives held at the newly renovated Ottawa Convention Centre. Over the history of the awards, 501 medals have been awarded to government agencies.
As Canada's premier recognition program for government IT professionals and teams at all levels, GTEC’s focus is on recognition. Being a nominee, finalist, and/or medalist, sends a tremendous signal of team vision and commitment to better government at all levels - Federally, Provincially and Municipally.
